Reference farm of the NWK eV
In order to offer the possibility of information about New World camelids (NWK) almost everywhere in Germany, we have developed the concept of reference farms.
The reference farm is run by a member of the NWK association... It is distinguished by excellent husbandry and use of its animals and above-average knowledge about these animals... The NWK association thus recognizes llama and alpaca keepers who can represent the association's quality standards very well to the public.
NWK eV since 1993 and currently has almost 700 members
Llamas and alpacas enjoyed increasing popularity as early as the beginning of the 1990s. Our association was founded in 1993 as the first for their owners.
The Association of Breeders, Keepers and Friends of New World Camelids e. V. is the largest German association for llamas and alpacas and their owners.
